introducing...MTB!

He's here...

introducing Rhys Jeffrey

he was born on Friday, March 5!
he was 7lbs 7oz and 20in long.
home 3.9.10.

...
AT LAST

...and since right now, he's snoozin', i'll recap what crazy whirlwind the past week has been. (i know, i haven't blogged about his journey at all, so this might be a big recap...prepare yourselves!)

...we started the process (ie decided to update and convert our homestudy to domestic) basically just after my dad passed away, so late november. all of our paperwork was done really, quite quickly (it helped that we decided to expedite our homestudy...little did we know that would be one of the best decisions of our lives!). everything was done on our end...and on our social worker's...except for our child abuse clearances. those were usually taking 4 weeks and our was over 7. and boy...was i antsy.

...and then came friday.

we were at lowes, looking for a new mailbox. it was 3:47 when our social worker called (we were working w/ a different matching agency and homestudy agency). so, our matching agency social worker called to see if we'd gotten our clearance back because there was a birthmom in labor...then came the panic and the frantic calling and we found out that our clearance HAD come back that afternoon...so, we were legit. stamped. and active...which meant that our profile could be shown to this laboring birthmom.

...and it was.

...fastforward to sunday afternoon. we're ordered pizza and were playing games w/ our neighbors. my cell rings and it's our social worker...because we were picked! she gave us all the details and said to come on down the next day.

...so we did.

...and we were blessed to meet Rhys's birth mom. blessed to be able to share his story with him and show him pictures. and everything went perfectly and smoothly (which i'm still shocked about...after ellie's adoption journey i waited w/ baited breath every single minute!)

...so, here we are.

a family of five.
as it was meant to be.

You could easily be making money online in the underground world of blackhat seo software, It's not a big surprise if you haven’t heard of it before. Blackhat marketing uses not-so-popular or misunderstood avenues to produce an income online.

Congratulations! It's amazing how God works. Both of our adoptions can only be explained as God things. Our paperwork wasn't even finished when we found out we were going to be parents. . .in three days!
